"Pretty good for the price"
i mean, I’m happy with it overall. The colour turned out really nice, and the price feels fair compared to other places I’ve tried. Delivery was fine too. I do wish it lasted a little longer, but for the money, I’d still say it’s worth it.

The colours were really easy to mix, and I liked that I could keep tweaking it until it looked just right. I made it a bit softer instead of using it straight from the tub, which worked much better for me. It ended up feeling more like my style, i was really happy with how it turned out.

"Showed up better than I thought"
I wasn’t sure it wasn’t gonna just disappear on my dark brown hair, but it actually turned out way nicer than I expected. The colour showed up really well without having to bleach my hair loads. It did take a bit longer to rinse out, but i’m not mad about it at all

I was actually happy with how this turned out. The colour came out really nice and lasted longer than I expected, which put me in a good mood. I’ve got a sensitive scalp, so I did a patch test first just to be safe. I had a tiny bit of itching, but nothing that worried me too much. I’d use it again, though I’d still keep an eye on the ingredients

I used Directions on my pre-lightened hair i was a bit nervous at first because I’ve been fooled before by dyes that look amazing in the tub and then barely show up. But this actually came out way better than I expected. The colour covered evenly and looked really bright once I rinsed it out. I did leave it on a little longer than the tub says, and it worked fine for me. It didn’t feel harsh on my hair either, which was a nice surprise. Really happy with the result and I’ll definitely buy it again

"Nice shades, just wish stock info was clearer"
I really like that their hair colours are vegan and cruelty-free, that was a big plus for me. The shades turned out nice too, like pretty much what I was hoping for. I just wish the website made it a bit clearer what was actually in stock, because I had to kind of figure it out as I went

"I’ve tried a few hair colours…"
I’ve tried a few hair colours before, some of them are just rude with how strong they smell. This one was actually nice though. It didn’t have that harsh chemical punch, more of a soft, slightly sweet smell, which made the whole process way easier. Since you have to leave it on for a bit, I definitely appreciated not feeling like my bathroom was turning against me. And thankfully, the room didn’t stink afterward either, so points for that

"Really close to the picture"
I ordered from Directions Hair Colour because I really wanted the colour to look like it did online. I picked my shade and, it came out super close to the picture — maybe even a little brighter, but in a good way. My hair was already lightened, so that definitely helped, but I’ve still had dyes turn out totally different before. This one was spot on and I’m really happy with it.

"Really impressed with how long it lasts!!"
I’ve been using Directions hair colour for a while now i’m so happy with it!! The colour stays in my hair way longer than other brands I’ve tried, and even when it fades, it does it nicely instead of going patchy or weird. I wash my hair often too, so I was surprised it stayed bright for weeks. Definitely a favourite for me!!

I used this over the weekend and it held up well. After a few washes it faded down gradually and didn’t go all patchy, which is always a win. Just a heads up for anyone trying it: my towel did get a little stained the first time, so maybe use an old/dark towel after applying. Kind of expected, but worth knowing!

"Stayed bright after washing"
I was expecting the color to fade because I’m terrible at remembering to wash things carefully, but it stayed really bright. It only rubbed off a tiny bit on the first wash, which I’ll blame on me not being extra cautious...

"Easy to Use and Nice Texture"
I’ve used Directions hair colour a few times now, i really like the texture. It’s thick enough that it doesn’t drip all over the place, which is obviously what you want when you’re doing your hair at home, but it still spreads through the hair easily. It feels smooth going on and doesn’t turn clumpy like some other dyes I’ve tried. Straightforward to use by myself, and I’ve been happy with the results.

"A Little Messy, but the Color Is Worth It"
I’ve used Directions a few times now, and at this point I’ve learned to treat it like a mini bathroom project. The first time, I definitely underestimated how much it could stain my skin and the sink if I wasn’t careful. But it wasn’t a disaster, a bit of soap on my skin and some cleaner on the sink sorted it out easily. The color always comes out really strong and vibrant, so I don’t mind putting in a little extra effort with the cleanup. For me, the results make the mess worth it.

"Bright turquoise and I'm obsessed"
I got the turquoise shade and omg it turned out so bright, way better than I expected tbh. It even stayed bold after a few washes, which I was super happy about. My hair was already pre-lightened so that def helped, but it was easy enough to use at home and the color looks so fun. Would 100% buy again.

"Fades really nicely"
I’ve been using Directions hair colour for a while now, the fade is sorta one of my favourite things about it.

It doesn’t go patchy or strange on me, it just gradually softens into a lighter shade. I used Plum, and even after a few washes it still looked really nice, just more pastel.

It’s easy to top up when I want to, but I don’t feel like I have to rush and redo it straight away. I’m really happy with how it wears.
